Appart’City has long been committed to corporate social responsibility (CSR), striving to reduce its carbon footprint and support the fight against climate change while promoting more sustainable tourism. Recently, with the global energy crisis driving up costs, Appart’City, like many in the hospitality sector, has been grappling with significant increases in energy prices.

A smart energy management tool to monitor and reduce energy usage in apart-hotels
In 2024, Voltalis deployed a team of certified technicians to install our connected thermostats across Appart’City’s electrically heated apart-hotels.
These smart thermostats are controlled via a user-friendly app, designed with hospitality professionals in mind, allowing them to schedule heating, adjust temperatures, and track real-time electricity usage.
Additionally, Voltalis works silently in the background modulating the flow of energy, optimising the consumption of each connected device. This works perfectly in tandem with the apart-hotel staff's own management efforts. Crucially while delivering significant savings for Appart’City, the optimisations are unnoticeable by guests and have no impact on individual comfort.
