Voltalis, a pioneer in energy flexibility, is proud to announce its participation at Enlit Europe 2024, taking place from 22nd to 24th October at the Fiera Milano di Rho in Milan, Italy.
As Europe’s largest conference on energy, Enlit Europe gathers industry leaders, innovators, and stakeholders committed to driving the energy transition and creating a decarbonised, digitalised energy system.
Voltalis has established itself as a leader in energy flexibility, with operations in countries including France, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Slovenia, Sweden, Finland, and the UK. Every day, the company manages more than 1.2 million distributed energy devices over 200 000 sites, enabling smart energy consumption and delivering real-time grid flexibility. This helps to reduce reliance on fossil fuels, cut carbon emissions, and lower energy bills for consumers.
Currently operating a 800 MW virtual power plant, with 1200 MW in construction to be completed by 2026 Voltalis aims to increase this capacity to more than 10 GW by 2030, benefiting 3 million homes and businesses across Europe.
At Enlit Europe 2024, Voltalis will join over 1,000 exhibitors showcasing its innovative solutions for grid stability and energy demand management. The company will also participate in expert panels, discussing the role of energy flexibility in Europe’s transition to a cleaner, more resilient energy system.
“Flexibility is the cornerstone of the energy transition,” says Mathieu Bineau, CEO of Voltalis. “Without it, we risk grid instability, higher electricity costs, and slower growth in renewable energy. Transforming how we manage energy consumption across Europe is essential to ensuring that homes and businesses contribute to a greener and more stable energy system, and engage in the clean energy revolution. Enlit offers an unparalleled forum to discuss policy, promote innovations, and share best practise, and we look forward to our participation this year in Milan.”
A key session in which Voltalis will participate in is the “Flexibility via Aggregation” panel, taking place on Tuesday 22nd October, from 3:25pm to 5:00pm at the Grid Innovation Hub. President of DR4EU Pierre Bivas will speak alongside industry experts from Pearlstone Energy, EDF, Engie Italia, Iberdrola Group, and Eneco Energy Trade.
By sponsoring and participating in Enlit Europe 2024, Voltalis reaffirms its commitment to building a sustainable and resilient energy future.
